This workshop is for men of all ages and skill levels interested in developing as a worship leader. It is an opportunity to learn new skills, and to practice techniques that can help in leading powerful and uplifting worship with the Body of Christ. We will discuss current trends, strengths and challenges related to a cappella worship leading, and will have several sessions specifically tailored to address functional techniques and strategies.
Mike Dozier will be in Keizer to lead the workshop and has been leading worship for more than 30 years. He is currently serving as the deacon over worship at the Madison Church of Christ in Alabama, and is an instructor at the Texas Normal Singing School.

The workshop will be capped off by a time of group worship on Saturday afternoon. During this time each attendee will have an opportunity to lead a song using the techniques they have learned. We are inviting all who are interested, men and women, young and old, to attend the Saturday afternoon Worship Leader Showcase for a time of praise and worship and to encourage our leaders!

1. Is there any cost to attend? If so, how do we pay?
2. What should we bring? (i.e. song book, pitch pipe, notebook, etc.)
3. When is the registration deadline?
1. There is no cost to attend the workshop this year.
2. It would be great to bring a pitch pipe or other pitching device. We will definitely be using them. We will be using our song books so there is probably no need to bring one. Bringing a notepad would be wise for taking notes during the workshop. It is worth noting that a light breakfast and lunch are provided on Saturday, but dinner will not be provided. Please also invite a friend or two who like to sing, to join us for worship time on Saturday evening, 3-5!
3. There is no registration deadline and we would welcome you on the day of the event. BUT, this is our first year and we are trying our best to predict what the needs of the attendees will be. If you can register in advance it will help us be more prepared. Thanks!
