So, we moved the vast majority of our things from Boise to Salem last week.  What and undertaking!  Over the last few months the Joneses have been living with one foot here in Keizer and one in Boise.  This will continue for another month or so, but now most of the weight is on the Keizer foot.  We are looking forward to having both feet firmly planted here in the near future.

There is no way we could have pulled this together without the help of both of our churches.  Brothers and sisters from the Grace church of Christ helped us pack up , box and stack our things.  They loaded our U-Haul truck on a 110 degree day and sent us on the way with a great Bon Voyage BBQ and party!  Our close friends, Ron and Lynette Phillips even travelled with us and towed our camp trailer and little Dodge Neon, including a four hour delay near La Grande!

Then when we got here, a bunch of brothers and sisters from the Keizer church showed up to unload our things.  We had the whole Truck emptied into our new digs in an hour!  How awesome is that?!  And them to top it off Mike and Hilda Bough stuck around an worked in our neglected and overgrown backyard for most of the day.

This is what the church does, this is loving your Brother and I am always grateful for what God has given us in his church.  Thanks be to him and you all as well!  Howard
