We’re Glad You’re Here
Every church is different, and it can be difficult to enter a place where everyone already seems to know each other. When you visit us at Keizer, however, we will do everything we can to make you feel as welcome as possible, and we hope that we will communicate to you the warm, family atmosphere and sense of love that we hold for each other.
What To Expect
Classes
We have classes each Sunday morning starting at 9:30 AM for various age groups. Generally there is at least one adult class as well as classes for kids of all ages from pre-k to 12th grade. Our child classes are facilitated by volunteers who have undergone child safety training and background checks. Our adult classes are generally centered around studying the text of the Bible and are informal, welcoming questions and discussion.
Our Worship
Worship starts at 10:45 AM every Sunday morning. Our style of worship is simple and consists of a cappella singing, prayer, a sermon, sharing the Lord’s Supper, and finishes with a time of blessing and commission. Sometimes we stand while singing, sometimes we sit. You don’t have to worry about a dress code – whether it’s shorts or suits, we’re just glad you’re here. There is an attended nursery available during the worship hour.
Junior Worship
During the sermon kids ages 3 through 2nd grade are welcome to join us for a fun time of learning about who God is and why we worship him. Kids are dismissed during the song we sing prior to the sermon, and are in junior worship for approximately 25 minutes with multiple junior worship facilitators. Kids will learn fun songs, hear a story from the bible, and participate in Bible centered activities and games.
